Found Rachel Pemberton &cthere, and had an agreeable Evening,Except the pain that the prospect of nothaving my father with us to-morrow ( ?), my brothers Samuel & Richard being come to Philad% & not having heardwhy he did not come. I felt in it a degree of the heart-tendring Love of God, which was astrength & Comfort. Sarah Morris &M. Lightfoot preachd, & J. Benezittprayd ; then we solemnized our marriagein an awful and Intelligible manner. Hadour friends Company, & the Entertain-ment for them was very agreeable. S** A very pleasant day. Several ofour agreeable friends staid at Stenton allnight, and to-day we had theirs and theCompany of several other fr from town.Spent the day to general satisfaction. 9 Rode with my sister to town.Recd the Complements of Several of myacquaintance. Went back in the after-noon.
