DescriptionHankow 1888.jpg	English: Europeans attending the races at Hankow (Hankou), China, 1888. There were five foreign concessions in Hankow on the eve of WWI but by 1928, the German, Russian and British concessions had ceased to exist and only the Japanese and French ones remained.
