| Description |
English: This is an image of Hanging Rock on the Wabash River in Wabash County, Indiana, near the town of Lagro. It was cropped from a scanned image of a postcard published before 1923 by M.G. Callahan in Marion, Indiana. The site is now a National Natural Landmark named "Hanging Rock and Wabash Reef." It consists of two, one-acre sites along the south bank of the Wabash River that contain natural exposures of Silurian limestone reef deposits. |
