Description
English: Square handkerchief of cotton printed in red showing hunting themed designs. Four oval medallions show hunting and sporting scenes; round center medallion, a drinking scene. At left, a song with music, “Old Towler a Favourite Hunting Song.” At right, a song with one line of music above, “The Dogs and Guns, a Favourite Shooting Song.” Spaces between medallions show guns, baskets, bows and arrows, all arranged as decoration; birds in corners; a narrow border is composed of birds, hares, bows and arrows. Cotton is hand woven, plain cloth and selvages have fine blue threads in warp.
