Noch einmal taucht also dieMeistergestalt jenes Künstlers auf, dem wir den prachtvollenSchatz der Bessererkapelle verdanken. Die Berner Glasgemäldebilden den Übergang von diesem Meister zu Hans Wild. JenerHans von Ulm, mag er nun in die Familie der Acker oderDeckinger gehört haben oder nicht, bildet neben den Meistern derUlmer Chorfenster eine eigentümliche Erscheinung. Er stehtauf dem Boden der großen Traditionen des Künstlers der Besserer-kapelle und nimmt von seinen Kollegen, die mehr im Stil derNördlingen-Nürnberger Schule arbeiten, nur wenig an. Von ihmhat sich im Münster zu Ulm nichts erhalten. So sehr also diese Momente dafür sprechen, daß Hans Wild Tafel 43
