Description
한국어: 한항길(한흥리)는 안양 출신으로 경성고등보통학교 2학년에 재학 중 3.1운동에 참여하였다. 기차 통학 만세운동을 주도하였으며 시흥, 안양, 군포역 등에서 만세를 부르고 독립선언서를 낭독하였다. 1919년 3월 5일 서울역에서 벌어진 시위운동을 하다가 체포되어 3년간의 옥고를 치뤗다. 정부는 1990년에 한항길지사의 공훈을 기려 건국훈장 애족장을 추서하였다.

원태우(원태근)지사는 1882년 안양에서 태어났다. 1905년 경술국치(을사늑약)에 격분하여 침략의 원흉인 이토 히로부미를 응징하기 위하여 그 해 11월 경기도 수원에서 경부선 철도를 통해 안양을 지나던 이토 히로부미가 탄 열차에 돌을 던져 이토 히로부미의 눈과 안면에 부상을 입혔다. 이로 인해 일제에 의해 큰 고초를 겪었으며 이후 공훈을 기려 1990년 건국훈장 애족장을 추서하였다.
