English: Halifax HarbourThree sheets. Engraved. Scale: ca. 1:30 000 (bar). Cartographic Note: North at 104 degrees. Variation shown 13 degrees 35' W. Scales in statute and nautical miles in 45B onwards. Additional Places: Nova Scotia. Contents Note: Sailing directions are included in the title, Views: there is an oval view of the lighthouse above the title and a coastal view of Chebucto Head extending across the foot of all three sheets, The chart shows the street-plan, dockyards and battery at Halifax. Imprint Jan 30 1776. Land shaded. Other features: Printed on LVG paper. Chart printed in green ink, the view in black ink. 'Longitude west from the Royal Observatory at Greenwich' in manuscript.
