English: Halewood 1st railway station (site), Merseyside Opened in 1874 by the Cheshire Lines Committee on the line from Warrington Central to Liverpool Central, this station closed in 1951. View east towards Hough Green and Warrington, from the end of the current station platform. The wooden platforms were located just beyond the grey box. No trace remains. |
