English: This picture depicts those prominent warriors who fought in the vanguard of Maharana Pratap's army at the battle of haldighati. The photo shows two charans viz Charan Jaisa (in the right centre near the bell and with a sword) and Charan Keshav (below,in the centre with bow and arrow,) at number 22 and 23.Hakeem Khan Soor ,Rajputs and Charans are shown in blue armour with blue helmets, other races have white attire.Rajputs and Charans with a red band in their helmets are those who were killed in the action.Infact along with the Rajputs; total seven charan warlords were killed for the cause, though the actual number may be higher. However the number of charans under their command is unknown for obvious reasons. This photograph is result of extensive research carried out by Maharana Mewar foundation and we are indeed greatful to them. Also seen in the picture are Shri Ekling (incarnation of Shiva and kuldevta of mewar dynasty ,in the centre) Hon'ble His highness Maharaja Shri Arwind Singh ji of Mewar (lower left corner )and pratahsmraniya (to be remembered every morning) Shri Maharana Pratap ,the epitome of bravery and perseverance(lower right corner).
