Münzgesetz und Münzfuß: Prägung gemäß § 4 Münzverfassung vom 27. Oktober 1840 in Übereinstimmung mit Artikel 12 der Dresdner Münz-Convention 1838 und Punkt 4 der besonderen protokollarischen Übereinkunft als Scheidemünze im 16-Taler-Münzfuß mit 213⅓ Stück aus der Mark zu 233,8555 g bei einem Feinsilbergehalt von 64 Grän = 222,222‰, damit 960 Stück aus der feinen Mark, Feingewicht = 0,244 g und Raugewicht = 1,096 g nach dem preußischen Kleinmünzsystem.
Soll-Gewicht: 1,096 g Ist: 1,08 g Durchmesser: 15,01-15,02 mm Dicke: 0,65 mm
Prägung nur 1840 Münzstätten Berlin (A), Gesamtauflage = 2.399.722 Stück im Wert von 39.995 Taler = 7,68% Anteil an Gesamtmünzproduktion des Landes im Zeitraum von 1840 bis 1856
Wert und Unterteilung: Scheidemünze, 1/60 Taler = 6 Pfennige Umrechnung in Währung im 24½-Guldenfuß = 1 Kreuzer 3 Pfennige
Außerkurssetzung: Nach Einführung der Reichswährung gemäß Artikel 15 Nr. 3 Münzgesetz Zahlungsmittel zum Wert von 5 Pfennig bis zur Außerkurssetzung ab 01. Juni 1876 zum gleichen Wert.
