| Description |
Deutsch: Denkmalgeschützte Villa in Hagen-Eppenhausen (Emst), Lohestraße 3. Ehemalige Villa Kerckhoff des Hagener Unternehmers Gustav Adolf Kerckhoff (1878-1936). Als einziges Gebäude jenseits der Haßleyer Straße Bestandteil der Gartenstadt Hohenhagen. Entworfen 1922 von den Architekten Gebrüder Ludwigs aus Hagen. Die Villa wurde im englischen Landhausstil mit Anklängen an expressionistische Stilelemente erbaut. Der Eingangsbereich mit dem darüberliegenden Balkon ist gestalterischer Mittelpunkt der symmetrisch angeordneten Hauptfassade. Die Villa ist mit speziellen Klinkern vekleidet und die Wirkung des tiefbraun blasig glasierten, bossenartigen, verborgenen und zersprungenen Ziegels ist ungewöhnlich reizvoll. Das große Grundstück (1,5 ha) mit altem Baumbestand liegt im Landschaftsschutzgebiet „LSG-Emst, westlich der A 45“. |
