| Description |
English: The history of haematopoietic stem cells dates back to the beginning of the Institut of Pathology Koenigsberg. This picture belongs to a publication of Ernst Neumann (1834 - 1918) from 1874 (E. Wagners Archiv der Heilkunde Bd. XV, 1874). It is the first draft, showing the development of the colorless hematopoietic stem cell (6fß) to the Erythroblast (6fa´).
Deutsch: Die Abbildung stammt aus einer Veröffentlichung Ernst Neumanns aus Königsberg, der 1868 das Knochenmark als Blutbildungsorgan beschrieb und die "Lymphoide Markzelle" als einzige später so bezeichnete Hämatopoetische Stammzelle als Ursprungszelle für alle Blutzellreihen bestimmte. Blutbildungsorgane seien, laut Neumann, die embryonale Leber (hier Abb.) und Milz sowie das postembryonale Knochenmark. Die Abb. dürfte die erste zeichnerische Darstellung einer farblosen pluripotenten Blutstammzelle sein (6fß). |
