Summary

[edit]
Description

The archaeological site of Hadyakh, ancient Neyshapour, located close to the tombs of Attar and Kamal ol Molk. The village was peopled from 9th century CE till its destruction by an earthquake in 1308 CE. Excavations showed artifacts of the Seljoukid then Ilkhanid eras, featuring winemaking, glassmaking, & forge workshops. The brutal and terrible end of this village can be seen through the fact it was left in "live state" and trough the multiples skeletons found, all having the stigmatas of multiple trauma and crushing lesions.
