English: Photo of the Hadley Highstone, located just north of the intersection between the Great North Road and Kitts End Road in Monken Hadley, Greater London, United Kingdom. The obelisk commemorates the Battle of Barnet and reportedly marks the location where Richard Neville, Earl of Warwick, the Kingmaker had died. Erected in 1740 by Sir Jeremy Sambrook approximately 200 metres further south, it was moved to the current location in 1840. |
