| Description |
English: Habitat restoration on Mynydd Caregog A 70 acre plantation of Sitka spruce has been felled here in a project managed by the Pembrokeshire Coast Park Authority to restore the ancient heathland and upland woodland of this area. The felling and removal of the trees lasted from 2002-6, slowed down first by foot-and-mouth and then by a slack market for the timber.
Some regeneration is already starting and can be viewed from a network of footpaths over the area. |
