Description
English: Haalu Holige (deep fried wheat puris soaked in sweetened almond milk flavoured with saffron) is a sweet dish made for the auspicious occasion of Kartik Purnima. It is made by soaking crispy pooris in sweetened almond milky pudding. Kartik Purnima is a five-day festival that occurs in the holiest lunar month of Kartik (eighth lunar month in the Hindu calendar).
