English: The Hamekasher Transportation Cooperative garage in Jerusalem was opened in May 1939. The building was designed by architect Richard Kauffmann Houses of the Palestinian village Sheikh Badr, can be seen on the hill in the background

המבנה, בצורת חצי סהר תוכנן של ידי ריכרד קאופמן ונבנה על ידי סולל בונה (על פי ידיעה בעיתון דבר) ברקע ניתן לראות את בתי הכפר הערבי שייח באדר במקום הבניין הימני נבנה בניין הביטוח הלאומי ובמקום שבו עמד הבניין השמאלי בתמונה נבנו בניני האומה התמונה צולמה מכיוון שדרות הרצל
