Description
Nederlands: Gezicht op de Domkerk en het Domkerkhof te Utrecht uit het noordwesten, met links het hoekhuis van de Voetiusstraat, de huizen aan Achter de Dom en de torens van de Pieterskerk en rechts de Servetstraat en het Bisschopshof. Linksboven drie engelen met het wapen van het Domkapittel. Linksonder een cartouche met een opdracht in het Latijn aan Jan van Reede, Heer van Renswoude. Middenonder een steen met diens wapen. Rechtsonder de transcriptie van vier versjes op gevelstenen in de toren en de kerk. Onder de afbeelding een beschrijving van de stad Utrecht en de Dom, in het Nederlands en in het Latijn. De voorstelling wordt omkaderd door een sierlijst. N.B. De naam Domkerkhof is in 1860 gewijzigd in Domplein.

Nederlands: Fotoreproductie van H.J. Holgen (1e helft 20ste eeuw; na 1907) van een prent (ets) van Hugo Allardt (etser ?) naar een tekening van Steven van Lamsweerde (Q21645701) uit ca. 1660 (nr. 36931), uitgegeven (?) door Herman Specht. Het koor van de Dom is ook afgebeeld, hoewel dat vanuit het standpunt van de tekening niet zichtbaar was. De foto laat een prent zien die uit verschillende delen is samengesteld. De eigenlijke voorstelling bestaat uit twee delen (de naad loopt tussen de Dom en de huizen aan Achter de Dom. Het is niet bekend wanneer en waarom deze gemonteerde prent uit elkaar is gehaald; de prent bevindt zich in meerdere versies in de collectie van HUA (nrs 28656 - 28660), maar de sierlijst is verdwenen. De naam van Huyck Allart (Q28873481) (Hugo Allardt) wordt in de oude catalogus vermeld maar blijkt niet uit de prenten. Mogelijk stond deze op de sierlijst gedrukt.
