Description
English: 150210-N-FC670-023 An MH-60S Seahawk helicopter assigned to the "Eightballers" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8, flies over San Diego during a familiarization flight, which incorporates search and rescue training, search patterns and instrument training for pilots and aircrewman, Feb. 10, 2015. HSC 8 provides vertical lift search and rescue, logistics, anti-surface warfare, special operations forces support and combat search and rescue capabilities for Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 11, in support of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) and Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 11 operations.
