Description A U.S. Navy Sikorsky HO3S-1 of Helicopter Utility Squadron HU-2 "Fleet Angels" takes off from the fantail of the heavy cruiser USS Columbus (CA-74) at Naples, Italy. Note the fleet oiler in the background. The Columbus was deployed as flagship of the Commander-in-Chief, Naval Forces Eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean, from 12 June 1950 to 5 October 1951.
