Description
English: Her Majesty's Yacht Britannia underway in July 1959. The British Queen Elizabeth II and the U.S. president Dwight D. Eisenhower are visible on her brigde. On 20 July 1959, Britannia sailed the newly opened Saint Lawrence Seaway en route to Chicago, Illinois (USA), where she docked, making the Queen the first British monarch to visit the city. President Eisenhower was aboard Britannia for part of this cruise.
