Description
English: HMS York, conducting a winch exercise on the Fo'c'sle whilst en route to Brunei. In the foreground we can see the new 4.5 Mod 1 Gun, first to be fitted on a Type 42 Destroyer.

HMS York was on a 20 week deployment to the Far East. The deployment was very much operationally focused and the ship played a pivotal role in support of UK Defence and Diplomacy in the region.
