| Description |
English: HMS Rame Head The positions are approximate. This was an ex-submarine depot ship of WWII vintage, built as a Canadian Fort/Park class ship (the Canadian version of the 'Liberty'). This still retained its 2500 horsepower inverted vertical triple expansion engine and two water tube boilers. She has now (2009) been towed to Belgium for scrapping. A sad if not unexpected loss. |
