Description
English: HMS Northumberland transits through Plymouth Sound to Devonport Dockyard on her return from a deployment abroad.

Royal Navy Type 23 frigate HMS Northumberland returned to Plymouth on Friday, December 5th 2014, after a successful patrol policing international shipping lanes in the Middle East.

HMS Northumberland received a warm welcome in Devonport Naval Base with over 500 family and friends meeting the ship to mark a successful seven-month patrol in the Arabian Gulf and Indian Ocean.
