Description The North West Air Ambulance (HM08) landed on the pier at Knott End to assist a patient that had collapsed. The helicopter emergency medical service was first on the scene and landed directly in the pier, used for boat journeys between Knott End and the port of Fleetwood. Colleagues from the land ambulance service also attended and carried the patient to hospital.
