Description
Deutsch: In der 6,3 km langen Speicherringanlage HERA wurden Protonen und Elektronen beschleunigt. Das Experiment HERA-B nutzte ausschließlich den Protonenstrahl, um die Physik der schweren Quarks zu untersuchen. Das Schema zeigt den inneren Aufbau der HERA-B-Detektors.
English: The 6,3-kilometre-long storage ring facility HERA was used to accelerate protons and electrons. The HERA-B experiment used only the proton beam to study the physics of heavy quarks. The diagram shows the inner structure of the HERA-B detector.
