Summary
[edit]DescriptionHCL 022 Late Renaissance Jug.jpg |
English: A green glass vase / jug with gilt metal mounts on the collar, handle and foot. The mounts seem to be secondary, possibly including modern work on the handle at least. The vase is mounted on a small round foot, the mounts on the body are decorated with floral motifs. There is a decorated S-scrolled handle. Just beneath the handle is a human mask surrounded by scroll work. |
