English: Museumbus 117 at HOVM museum, The Hague.
The ‘Haags Bus Museum’ resides in The Hague, The Netherlands since 1979. Their goal is restoration, preservation and driving with old busses that were in service on routes in and around The Hague. The first bus the museum bought was a Kromhout, number 327; a bus from large series that dominated The Hague from the 1950s onwards. Since 1989 the collection is part of ‘Haags Openbaar Vervoer Museum’ (Public Transport Museum of The Hague) at the old tramway depot Frans Halsstraat. The collection is 23 busses large although the volunteers are always on the lookout for more interesting busses! |
