Description

Stenvs Klint, Hojerup, Denmark, UNESCO World Heritage site. Old Højerup Church (Højerup Gamle Kirke) at the top of the cliff dates to 1200.

These cliffs are one of the best places in the world to see Cretaceous-Tertiatry (K/T) boundary, which marks asteroid impact 65 million years ago. It is clearly visible as thin black layer in the white stone.
