Français : La mare Tiabiga est l'une des Mares les plus importants du parc national de la Pendjari.
Elle est fréquentée par une multitude d'espèces d'oiseaux aquatiques comme le héron cendré qui se caractérise par un long cou, un long bec pointu. et à longues pattes se nourrit le plus souvent de poissons, mais il n'est pas exclusivement ichtyophage. En effet, son alimentation est également composée d'amphibiens, de reptiles, de crustacés, de petits mammifères (rats), d'oiseaux et même de plantes (bourgeons).
English: The Tiabiga pond is one of the most important ponds in the Pendjari National Park.
It is frequented by a multitude of species of aquatic birds such as the gray heron which is characterized by a long neck, a long pointed beak. and long-legged most often feeds on fish, but it is not exclusively ichthyophagous. Indeed, its diet is also composed of amphibians, reptiles, crustaceans, small mammals (rats), birds and even plants (buds). |
