Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Details of the uniform of the Norwegian Royal Guards (Hans Majestet Kongens Garde) on display at the Bergenhus Fortress Museum in Bergen, Norway.
  • The King’s Guard is part of the Army of Norway (Norwegian: Hæren) and has permanent sentry duty at the Royal Palace in Oslo, Skaugum Estate, Bygdø Royal Farm when in use, Akershus Fortress, and Huseby military camp.
  • The traditional uniform include a single breasted dark blue tunic with green epulettes, white galloons (flat braids) on standing collars and cuffs, red piping, buttons with Norwegian coat of arms lion, plumed Bersaglieri bowler hat, white lampasses on the trousers, etc.
Norsk bokmål: Uniform for soldater i Hans Majestet Kongens Garde utstilt i Bergenhus festningsmuseum i Bergen.
