C'est au mariage de Guy XVI avec Anne de Montmorency qu'on doit de posséder le seul monument qui ait conservé ses traits. La Collégiale Saint-Martin de Montmorency, construite entre 1523 et 1563, possède douze verrières, exécutées entre 1523 et 1533 qui renferment les portraits de Guillaume de Montmorency, de ses enfants et petits-enfants. Guy XVI est représenté agenouillé et vêtu d'une cotte aux armes de Montmorency-Laval ; derrière lui se trouve un personnage, lequel est, non pas saint Nicolas, mais saint Jérôme. Anne, agenouillée elle aussi, est vêtue d'un surcot armorié; elle est accompagnée de sainte Anne et de la sainte Vierge.
