| Description |
English: Gunnera at Dutson A somewhat outlandish sight beside the A388 as it drops through the hamlet of Dutson to the Tamar valley. I would guess this is Gunnera manicata, usually grown by ponds. Its presence might be partly explained by the fact that there is well a few yards up the road, so perhaps this is a springline. And 300 metres up the road is the Homeleigh Garden Centre, so perhaps someone dropped some seeds... |
