SOVEREIGNS ENTRANCE. ■ by H.mvin. • The whole of the interior of the Tower above the groining overthe entrance is fitted up with numerous fire-proof floors to re-ceive Parliamentary records and documents; the lowest of thesefloors being fitted as a sorting room, from whencea circular staircase leads to the several rooms in eachfloor. Access to these rooms is obtained by the staircase turretat the South-east corner of the Tower, as well as by a specialdoor in the Peers Facade. THE CLOCK TOWER. The CLOCK TOWER is a structure equally original, but quitediffering in design.
