Summary
[edit]Cemetery on Guadalcanal, photographed in 1945, for both Allied and Japanese remains. Source: http://www.guadalcanal.homestead.com/canalbwpics43-45.html. Although from a commercial website, the site lists the source of the photo as "Lt. Robert Porter, Signal Corps." The use of an official, U.S. military title with the sources name identifies the source as a U.S. government employee performing duties for the U.S. government. U.S. government photos are public domain documents.
