Os esforços dos cientistas vão para pesquisa climática. A expedição vai instalar módulo de pesquisas a 670 quilômetros de distância do Pólo Sul geográfico. O módulo coletará e enviará dados climáticos para o Brasil por pelo menos 4 anos. O objetivo é detectar no interior da Antártida sinais poluentes resultado de queimadas. |
