English: A U.S. Navy working party moves a Grumman S-2E Tracker (BuNo 149847) of Anti-Submarine Squadron 21 (VS-21) "Lightning Bolts" on a catapult prior to launching from the aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge (CVS-33), during "Operation Beach King" in the Sea of Japan, 19 July 1969. VS-21 was assigned to Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 53 (CVSG-53) aboard the Kearsarge for a deployment to the Western Pacific and Vietnam from 29 March to 4 September 1969. |
