Schönheide im Erzgebirge: Mausoleum der Familie Flemming, früher Inhaber der größten Bürstenfabrik in Schönheide. Bis zum Jahr 1838 war ein Teil der Fläche des heutigen Marktplatzes und die, auf der seit 1882 das Rathaus steht, der Schönheider Friedhof. Der 1838 angelegte und 1883 erweiterte Friedhof am Rathausberg in der Trägerschaft der Evangelisch-lutherischen Kirchgemeinde Schönheide war bis zum Jahr 1995 Friedhof für die Schönheider, ob sie Mitglied der Schönheider Kirchgemeinde, anderer evangelisch-lutherischer Kirchengemeinden, Mitglied der römisch-katholischen Kirche oder keiner Religionsgruppe angehörten. 1908 wurde die Friedhofskapelle gebaut. Nach der Entfernung fast aller Grabsteine im Jahr 2015, also 20 Jahre nach den letzten Beerdigungen, stehen auf der parkartigen Fläche nur noch die als Kulturdenkmale eingestuften Grabstätten (Gruften) der früheren Eigentümer der Eisengießerei Schönheiderhammer, Familie von Querfurth, und die einiger anderer Familien, denen früher größere Bürstenfabriken gehörten, Familien Flemming und Oschatz. Außerdem gibt es noch einige Grabmäler anderer Familien, so die der Familie C. G. Tuchscherer (Textilien) und Lenk (Bürsten). Sie sind in mehr oder minder stärkerem Verfall und werden nur sehr eingeschränkt unterhalten. Heute wird dieser Friedhof als "alter Friedhof" bezeichnet. Vom Jahr 2016 an wurde er als Park umgestaltet. |
