English: Groynes, Winchelsea Beach Taken from Pett Wall whose clay and concrete structure is buttresses by banks of shingles brought in from the eastern side of Dungeness. The nature of the tides means that the beach here is often stripped of its shingle which is deposited further up the coast. |
