Description
English: Groyne, Findhorn Beach Holding back the sand and pebbles from their gradual movement along the coast. The coast is continuously changing shape. The current village of Findhorn is new. The old village had to be abandoned in 1702 when the mouth of the river changed. A seal covered sandbar is exposed a few hundred metres away. At low tide this will all be exposed beach.
