Grove: Medieval single loop buckle
Description
English: A cast copper alloy single-loop buckle. The buckle has a recessed and narrowed pin bar (pin missing), a pointed lip with groove for the pin, and a double ridge each side. The reverse of the buckle is plain and flat. This buckle measures 18.05mm long, 20.5mm wide and is 3.8mm thick. It weighs 2.28gms and dates from the later madieval period.
