Description
English: in 1904, several American war correspondents were detained in Toyko, where they had been reporting on Japanese activities in the Russo-Japanese War. They were eventually released.
The seated figure in front, looking upwards, is Newspape Enterprise Association "special commissioner" Will B. Colver.
