| Description |
Taken at sheldrick, elephant orphanage in Nairobi. The orphanage take up young elephants who's mothers have been killed by pouchers or other reasons. They go to the orphanage and a caretaker will stay with them 24/7. After a few years they will be released again in the wild. If a caretaker is seen by the elephant many years later, the wild elephant will still recognize the caretaker and show him his or her gratitude. The orphanage is only open daily from 11 to 12 in the morning. A great place to visit. |
