Description
English: Ground Ivy, Glechoma hederacea These plants were growing in the shadow of a stone at the base of a hedge. The flowers were of a particularly vibrant blue. Ground ivy used to be one of the most popular remedies for coughs and nervous headaches.

There is a stem of Cleavers, Galium aparine, growing to the right. It is also known as Goose Grass and Sticky Willy and can grow at an alarming rate. Its barbed seeds cling to animals' fur for dispersal.
