English: Grim's Ditch, Stockton Wood near Stockton 5. Grim's Ditch, an ancient earthwork, runs west to east through Great Ridge and then into Stockton Wood, see 568559. In this view, looking east, the mound of the earthwork can be clearly be seen. About 200m ahead Grim's Ditch reaches the A303 trunk road which it crosses obliquely, and then continues to Chilmark Down. |
