English: Portrait of Grigory Chernyshyov (1672-1745), Russian military leader and statesman.

Холст, масло Поступление: записан в главную инвентарную книгу Исторического музея в 1931 «из старых поступлений», до 1917 находился в имении графини С.И. Чернышевой-Безобразовой Ярополец Волоколамского уезда Московской губернии. Изображен в одеянии ордена Святого Андрея Первозванного, которого он удостоился вместе с графским титулом в 1742 по случаю коронации императрицы Елизаветы Петровны. На столе – знак и лента ордена Святого Александра Невского (1725) и два жалованных портрета Петра I, обрамленных алмазами.

Григорий Петрович Чернышев приобрел половину имения Ярополец в 1717, именно здесь со временем были собраны многие фамильные портреты." [1]
