Description
Deutsch: Porte du Tricot-Belfried-in Grignan-Die Stadtmauer von Grignan wurden im 13. Jahrhundert erbaut. Der kreisförmige Schutzwall hatte ein Dutzend Wehrtürme und sechs Eingänge (portes): porte du Tricot (Tor der Strickmacher), porte St Jean, porte de Costefroide, porte de la Glacière (Tor des Eiskellers), porte de la Grande und Tour de porte Costechaude. Der große, quadratische Turm (Tour Carrée) wurde bei der Porte du Tricot als Alarm/Signal-Turm gebaut. Die Kuppel erhielt der Turm später, zusammen mit der ersten Uhr des Dorfes.
