Description
English: The statue depicted in this photograph was part of a structure marking the grave of the Feddersen family in Galmsbüll (near Niebüll in Schleswig-Holstein) It was created in 1909 by Gregor Von Bochmann (1878-1914) but unfortunately sometime around the end of the second world war it disappeared. Often at that time period statues such as this were stolen and melted down for its precious metal. One can only speculate. Gregor von Bochmann was the son in law of the well known painter Hans Peter Feddersen.
Deutsch: Grab der Familie Feddersen in Galmsbüll (bei Niebüll in Schleswig-Holstein) mit der Skulptur von Gregor von Bochmann (1878–1914) von 1909. Der Maler Hans Peter Feddersen war der Schwiegervater des Bildhauers. Die Skulptur ist am Ende des zweiten Weltkrieges verschwunden.
