Description

Still there are no roads and electricity. My village smiles in a pure natural delight.


Two weeks ago I returned to my village (Sano-Majuwa at Bhojpur, Nepal) after many years, refreshing my childhood memories. Most of the old people I knew had passed away and many new faces have arrived. I could see only few satellite phones and some solar powered lamps as the tastes of the technology there. Still one of our houses is locked out by Maoist and none of the lands taken away by them has been returned. But the biggest worry for everyone was the delayed monsoon. Very few cared about the heated politics going on inside Kathmandu valley.


It was a perfect escape, an enlightening one. And now I am back, will be visiting your wonderful streams :)
