| Description |
English: Greenfield Road A635, Upperthong This is in a narrow strip of Upperthong territory that connects the village with its moorland pasture, and perhaps is the origin of 'thong' in the name. Harden Moss Lane goes off to the right, and for some reason the field wall is built up high at the corner. There is a large heap of white material in the background that with hindsight I wish I had investigated. The National Park sign is silhouetted against it. |
